Productive cycle
The newborn fish are fed with seaweed, that besides satisfying their need, they also represent nutrition for the rotifers, microscopic invertebrates, that will become, in a few time, nutrition for the newborn fish, which are not able to see but they can detect movements.
Later, during the second phase of the weaning, the nourishment of the juveniles is integrated with other small invertebrates as for example the Artemia salina

Check-ups and Selection
Once is reached the first phase of the development inside a constantly monitored environment, the juveniles, other than being once more subject to a veterinary check- up, face the first selection regarding their dimension.
The overcoming of this verification will determine the transition to the new phase of rearing and so to a new alimentation.
