Acqua Azzurra produces sea breams, sea basses and umbrines. Acqua Azzurra’s production can be distinguished into two major lines:

Juveniles

Commercially sized fish

All the sea breams, sea basses and umbrines reared at Acqua Azzurra, are born in the hatchery of the company with the possibility of identifying the broodstock.

Thanks to the investments carried out and to the development of the sexual maturity induction techniques and of the controlled reproduction, Acqua Azzurra produces more than 150 million eggs per year which are equal to approximately 35 million juveniles of which a part is used for sale and a part for sea-farming.

Acqua Azzurra breeds, batches and sells fish in different sizes: from 350 grams to 1 kilo.

2018’s production is foreseen to be of 1730 tons, in order to reach 2200 tons in 2020.
